Product description
The couch, the bed, the back seat. One ramp that meets all three — so she stops waiting for you to lift her.
The Henley & Bone ramp is built for any dog (or cat) whose body has started asking for help — IVDD-prone breeds like dachshunds, Frenchies, and corgis; senior Labs, Goldens, and Shepherds with stiff joints; small dogs who can't reach the bed; big dogs you shouldn't be lifting; and pets recovering from TPLO, ACL, or IVDD surgery. A high grade wood ramp with adjustable heights, heavy-duty carpet across the entire surface, and six removable wood grip strips. Folds flat under 3″ thick. Carries with one hand.
What makes it different
- Adjustable heights in one ramp. Adjusts 16″–22″ across 4 levels. Most premium brands sell separate ramps for couch, bed, and step — ours does all three.
- Built for any dog up to 132 lbs. Dachshunds, Frenchies, corgis, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Mastiffs, mixed breeds. Cats too — Maine Coons, Ragdolls, declawed cats, senior tabbies.
- Heavy-duty carpet + removable grip strips. Six wood grip strips included for extra skid resistance where your pet needs it most. Tested for senior paw pads and tentative cat claws alike.
- Folds flat. Slides between sofa and wall, leans against any piece of furniture. The ramp that disappears when company comes.
- Side carrying handle. Light enough to move from room to room one-handed.
- 90-Day Comfort Guarantee. Not the right fit? Send it back within 90 days for a full refund — free return shipping, no questions asked. Plus a 90-day warranty against defects and breakage under normal use.

Built for these pets
Any dog (or cat) up to 132 lbs whose body has started asking for help — IVDD-prone breeds (dachshunds, Frenchies, corgis, basset hounds), seniors with stiff hips or arthritis, small dogs who can't reach the furniture, big dogs you shouldn't be lifting, and pets recovering from surgery. The long, gentle slope is especially helpful for dogs with arthritis or hip dysplasia.

Not the right fit? Send it back within 90 days for a full refund. We pay return shipping. Full refund — no questions, no restocking fee. Pets sometimes need a few weeks (or months) to trust a new piece of furniture. We'd rather you have time to know it works than feel pressured.

Common questions
How do I train my dog to use the ramp?
Start with it flat on the floor and walk your dog across it with a treat, then raise it a little at a time over a few days. Reward at both ends, every single trip — consistency is what builds the habit. Most dogs are using it on their own inside a week.
What if my dog is scared of it at first?
That is normal. Do not lift them onto it. Keep the sessions short and positive, feed a few meals beside it so it becomes ordinary furniture, and let them choose it. Some dogs take 1–3 days, a few take 2–3 weeks.
Will it slip on my floor?
No. The walking surface is high-traction and the feet grip the floor, so the ramp stays put on hardwood, tile and low-pile carpet while your dog climbs.
How do I store it when it is not in use?
It folds flat and has a carry handle, so it slides beside the bed or sofa, into a closet, or into the car when you travel.
What if my dog will not use it?
That is exactly what the 90-day comfort guarantee is for. Email us any time in the first 90 days and we send a prepaid return label, cover return shipping, and refund you in full. No questions asked.

Senior Dogs
Stiff joints and worn cartilage make every jump ache. Arthritis and lost muscle turn the couch or bed into a daily struggle. Each hard landing grinds the joints down a little more. Over time many seniors simply give up and stop reaching the spots they love.
Injured Dogs
A sprain, strain, or sore back makes jumping painful — or impossible. Landing hard from a height can tear healing tissue in a second. The pain makes them hesitate, whimper, or refuse to move. They need a gentle, low-impact path up and down while they mend.
Recovering Dogs
After TPLO, ACL, or IVDD surgery, jumping is strictly off-limits. One bad leap can undo weeks of careful healing. Vets advise blocking stairs and furniture during recovery. A steady ramp keeps them moving without straining the surgical site.
Small Dogs Who Can’t Reach
Short legs can’t clear a tall bed, couch, or car seat. Every jump down is a huge drop for such a tiny frame. Breeds like Dachshunds and Frenchies risk painful disc injuries. Without help they’re left waiting to be lifted — or leaping and risking their spine.
Our Premium Henley Dog Ramp Was Designed To Solve Every One Of These Problems!

Things people ask before they buy.
Will my dog actually use it?
Most dogs trust a new ramp inside 1–3 weeks — small dogs and dachshunds often pick it up in a day or two. Best practice: lure them up with a treat the first few times, use it every time they want to go up or down (consistency matters).
If your dog won't use it after a fair attempt, that's exactly why we offer the 90-day comfort guarantee. Ship it back any time in the first year, full refund, we pay return shipping.
What size dog is it for?
Any dog up to 132 lbs on the SMALL 39″ or 176 lbs on the BIG 55″. We hear from owners of dachshunds, Frenchies, corgis, and basset hounds protecting against IVDD; senior Labs, Goldens, and Shepherds with stiff joints; small dogs that can't reach the bed; and big dogs their owners shouldn't be lifting.
The SMALL 39″ adjusts 16″–22″ and the BIG 55″ adjusts 18″–26″, covering couches, beds, and low SUVs — one ramp for every leap she used to make.
Couch, bed, or SUV — which is it for?
All three. The SMALL 39″ adjusts 16″–22″ — covering couches (typically 16–20″), beds (18–24″), and lower SUVs/crossovers. The BIG 55″ adjusts 18″–26″ for taller beds, crossovers and lower SUVs.
For an SUV, we recommend the BIG 55″. Both sizes reach the height — but because the 55″ is longer, it creates a gentler, more gradual incline. That shallower climb is easier on your dog’s joints and back, and far less intimidating than a steep angle. The 39″ still works for lower vehicles and confident dogs, but if your dog is older, IVDD-prone, recovering from surgery, or simply hesitant on a steep ramp, the 55″ makes getting in and out of the car noticeably easier.
Is it slippery?
No. The surface is non-slip heavy-duty carpet across the entire ramp, plus six removable wood grip strips for extra traction — tested for senior paw pads (which lose grip with age) and tentative dachshund or cat claws alike.
Does it require assembly?
None. The ramp folds open straight from the box — no tools, no hardware, nothing to assemble. Lift it out, unfold, lock the height setting, and you’re done.
How long does shipping take?
Free standard shipping from our warehouses. Typically arrives in 3-7 business days. You'll get tracking when it ships.
What if my dog won't use it?
The 90-Day Comfort Guarantee covers exactly this. Email us any time in the first year, we send a prepaid return label, refund your full purchase price when the ramp arrives back. No restocking fee. No questions about why.
Will my cat use it?
Yes. The same heavy-duty carpet and gentle slope that work for senior dogs work just as well for cats — especially senior cats with arthritis, declawed cats slipping on hard floors, post-surgery cats with no-jump orders, or larger breeds like Maine Coons and Ragdolls. Set the lowest height (16″) and most cats trust it within a few days.
Most dogs trust it within the first week.
Some take 1-3 days. A few take 2-3 weeks. The 90-day comfort guarantee covers all of them.
Unbox & unfold
Lift it out, unfold, lock the height setting. Zero assembly, no hardware. Place it at your couch, bed, or low SUV.
Walk her up with a treat
First few times: lure her up gently with a treat. Reward each successful trip.
She uses it on her own
Most dogs are confident inside a week. If yours isn't using it by the end of year one, ship it back. Full refund.
Quick check against the alternatives.
Most dog ramps are either nameless & cheap or beautiful & $400. We're the third option.

Why this ramp is built the way it’s built.
When I started Henley & Bone, the dog who inspired this ramp was a 15-year-old golden with stiff hips. But as we shipped the first units, the letters that came back surprised us — they weren’t all from senior-dog families. They came from people with dachshunds whose vets had warned about IVDD. From cat owners whose 16-year-old tabby had stopped jumping to her favorite chair. From families whose lab was recovering from ACL surgery.
We didn’t redesign the ramp. We didn’t need to. The same adjustable height, the same gentle slope, the same heavy-duty carpet that worked for senior paws worked just as well for tentative tabby toes, for post-op bandages, for a dachshund whose spine couldn’t take another landing.
So we’ll keep building it the way we built it — for any pet whose body has started asking for help, regardless of species or age. And if it doesn’t work for yours, the 90-day comfort guarantee covers all of them. Ship it back, full refund, we pay return shipping. I’d rather lose a sale than sell something the dog — or cat — doesn’t actually want.
